My Nowhere world has always been a little … weird. Besides the usual paranormal/supernatural goings-on, there hasn’t been a lot of consistency in Nowhere. It started with a trilogy. Then, my Muse said, “Add another trilogy!” Then, I kept getting bombarded with stories for Nowhere! Now, six years after I started writing in the world, the thirteenth (and final) book is nearing completion!
But the question became: How to make it make sense?
I had stories in different time frames. Covers from different designers. And even with the madness of it all, there’s an order. If you read any of the books that take place after the Hell on Earth trilogy (that’s the second trilogy, for those keeping up), there are cameos and Easter eggs that don’t make a, well, helluva lot of sense without reading those three books.
For someone who’s not living in my weird brain, it’s complicated. I want to make Nowhere more streamlined, more cohesive, and of course more enjoyable to read. That means a few changes.
Change number one: New interior formatting! I’ve taken away the different chapter headers for each book and made them all the same, which should make the Nowhere books more visually similar.
Change number two: New covers! That’s right, Nowhere is getting smexy new covers for the WHOLE WORLD! These are gonna be stunning on your shelves, and they’ll all be coordinating and cohesive instead of the mishmash I had before. Plus, two of the books that previously didn’t have paperback versions will now have them! That’s right – Alpha’s Pride and Irresistible Joy, previously only available in ebook, will have beautiful paperbacks!
Change number three: Once the covers are all back from the designer (EmCat Designs – she’s a doll!), I’ll rejigger Nowhere on Amazon to make it an organized world/series! That means the prequel novella will be Nowhere #1, then the first Bargains Struck book (Pact with the Pack) will be Nowhere #2, etc. This numbering should make the reading order more, well, ordered. 🙂
New looks. A new book. And an order to the chaos.
Get ready to get sucked into Nowhere!
